Anthony Lewis
Anthony Lewis is an award-winning producer with a distinguished career spanning 28 years in television, radio, and marketing. His expertise has been showcased across major networks and programs such as ESPN, Fox Sports, Mountain Stage, WWE, and numerous local TV stations. Anthony’s notable journey includes serving as a producer and director for the Mountaineers Sports Network.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Anthony is a dedicated father to his daughter, Layla. He is also an avid music fan and record collector, reflecting his eclectic tastes and passion for music. Adding to the richness of his life, Anthony shares his home with a beloved Newfoundland dog named Callie.
Matt Durrett
Matt “Diddy” Durrett joined the Touchdown City broadcast team in 2024, bringing with him years of experience from the Section 304 Podcast. Known for his hilarious insights and unique perspective, Matt is a fantastic addition to the show.
Hailing from St. Albans, WV, Matt is a lifelong WVU fan who loves traveling to Morgantown and spending time with his nephew. His enthusiasm and knowledge make him a valuable member of the team.
Avon Cobourne
Avon Cobourne holds the title of West Virginia’s all-time leading rusher and ranks 18th in college football history. His outstanding achievements earned him a place in the WVU Sports Hall of Fame in 2018. Following his professional football career in the NFL and Canadian leagues, Avon returned to his adopted state of West Virginia, where he resides with his wife and four children. Professionally, Avon is engaged in the mortgage lending and insurance sectors. He remains committed to his community by speaking and mentoring the youth of West Virginia. In 2020, Avon joined the Touchdown City broadcasting team, offering valuable insights from both a player’s and coach’s perspective.
Derek Bailey
Derek Bailey, from St. Albans, WV, is an avid sports enthusiast known for his encyclopedic knowledge of college and professional sports. Among friends and family, Derek is celebrated for his extensive sports insights and unwavering passion for the game. His dedication to his family is equally noteworthy; he takes great pride in being a devoted uncle to his nephew, Cooper, and keeps a watchful and caring eye on his father, Doug “Freddie” Bailey. Derek’s life is deeply intertwined with sports, evident in the enthusiasm he brings to the Touchdown City Show and Full Court Press, where his commitment to the games and his loved ones shines through.

Recognized with the “Best Network Long-Form Program” award by the WV Broadcasters Association, The Touchdown City Show is led by Anthony Lewis, a seasoned 25-year radio and TV veteran and former WVU TV Producer, alongside Avon Cobourne, WVU’s All-Time Leading Rusher, Matt Durrett, and Derek Bailey. Together, they deliver 15 weeks of candid WVU sports analysis.
The show covers everything from in-depth analysis of the previous Mountaineer game to discussions on Big XII sports, all served with a healthy dose of humor.
